When I was 18, my college yoga teacher, a bearded 60 year old yogi, invited me back to his place to "learn some advanced positions" several times, often while adjusting my position. Took me 10 years to get back to my yoga practice!
Merrily, I hear you. Sadly, you're not the first person I've heard that sort of story from... The challenge with being a woman who does yoga is that, like everyone else, unsavory characters (like that old yogi, shame on him) will pick up on the exciting empowerment and confidence that you feel when you do yoga... and they try to take advantage of it. I'm thankful for your comment, and thankful that you have gone back to your practice. I hope that old guy has had his karma handed back to him by now...
